Frequently asked.
I don't see many skin patients — is this relevant to me?
If you see patients with eczema, rosacea, acne, psoriasis, or any condition where the skin is a presenting complaint, yes. Skin is the most visible output of systemic dysfunction. This framework will change how you read those cases regardless of your specialty
I've already done gut-focused skin training. Will this cover new ground?
The gut axis is one of five. If gut has been your primary lens, this course will show you the four axes you may be under-assessing — and why cases that don't respond to gut work often have an environmental or nervous system driver that was never addressed.
I'm an early-career practitioner. Is this too advanced?
The framework is designed to be usable from the first year of practice. You don't need advanced clinical experience to apply it — you need a system. That's what this gives you.
How much time does it require?
10 modules delivered over 11 weeks with a mid-course integration break. Each session is 60 minutes of delivery plus 15 minutes of live Q&A.
Will it be recorded?
Yes. Every session will be recorded and accessible through your student portal. You'll have access to all course content for 12 months. That window is intentional — so you actually get it done. You're welcome.
Can I buy it after the live course has finished?
Yes. Foundational Skin Medicine will run live again in 2027. Pricing for the next cohort will be confirmed closer to that time.
Why aren't other skin conditions covered?
This is a foundational course and the prerequisite for any further skin education I offer. The principles are robust enough to apply across presentations beyond the three conditions covered — you'll leave with a framework, not just a condition list.
Will there be case studies?
Yes. I'll work through my own clinical cases and make those available. The Q&A at the end of each module also gives participants time to bring their own cases to the group.
Will there be a Facebook group or online community?
Not as part of this course. Once you've completed Foundational Skin Medicine, you'll be eligible to join group mentoring — that's the next step.
Can I claim this as a tax-deductible professional development expense?
For Australian practitioners, this course should qualify as a deductible CPD expense. Please confirm with your accountant. Enrolling before 30 June 2026 allows you to claim in this financial year.
